Public procurement radar: CPV and profile
Introduction
Firmify's public procurement radar surfaces notices from the official European portal TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), filtered automatically by your profile — CPV codes and keywords. This is an advisory triage tool, not legal or commercial advice; it does not guarantee eligibility, ranking, or success in any procedure.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Tool type | Advisory triage |
| Data source | TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) |
| Default scope | Bulgaria (CY = BGR) |

TED and the radar
TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the official European portal where public bodies from EU and related markets publish procurement notices. Hundreds of new notices — services, works, supplies, consulting — appear every working day.
Firmify reads publicly available TED data and loads it into the platform database. On every refresh, the system scores available notices against your profile and surfaces those with the highest match score.
CPV codes
CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) is the standardised European code system describing the subject matter of each contract. Every notice must carry at least one primary CPV code.
Codes are 8 digits + a check digit, e.g. 72212000-4 (Application software development services). In your Firmify profile you enter only the 8 digits without the check digit.
CPV codes by sector — reference table
| Sector | Typical CPV range | Example |
|---|---|---|
| IT services and software | 72000000–72900000 | 72212000 (application development) |
| Construction | 45000000–45999999 | 45233000 (road construction) |
| Consulting services | 73000000–73999999 / 79000000–79999999 | 79411000 (management consulting) |
| Transport and logistics | 60000000–60999999 | 60112000 (public road transport) |
| Healthcare | 33000000–33999999 / 85000000–85999999 | 85111000 (hospital services) |
| Education and training | 80000000–80999999 | 80533100 (computer training) |
| Security | 79710000–79999999 | 79713000 (security services) |
| Accounting and audit | 79210000–79219999 | 79212000 (auditing services) |
72212 covers the entire application-development sub-sector. More digits narrow the match.Steps in Firmify
1. Open the public procurement page
Sign in and open Public procurement from the dashboard menu. If the feature is enabled for your profile you will see the profile setup form.
2. Enter CPV codes
Enter one or more CPV codes separated by commas — for example 72212000, 45233000. The system also accepts 3–5-digit prefixes for broader coverage.
3. Add keywords
Keywords are matched against notice titles and descriptions. Enter words typical for your activity — e.g. development, mobile application, maintenance. Separate them with a new line or comma.
4. Save the profile
Click Save profile — the system immediately rescores available notices from the database. Results appear in the Matches section.
5. Review results
For each notice you see the title, CPV, score, and deadline. You can:
- Click Details for full information and an optional AI draft
- Save a notice for easier retrieval
- Hide irrelevant notices to keep the list clean
Match score
The displayed score is an automatic ranking hint — not an official award criterion and not a guarantee of any kind. Use it only as a prioritisation guide.
The score is built from three components:
| Component | Maximum | Description |
|---|---|---|
| CPV match | 45 points | Full or partial match on code |
| Keywords | 40 points | Number of keywords found in the notice |
| Country | 10 points | Whether the buyer is in your selected countries |
| Value | 15 points | Whether the value falls within a set range |
| Deadline | 30 points | Days remaining until the closing date |
The final score is a weighted sum. Only notices scoring above 18 points are displayed.
AI draft
When opening a notice's detail page you may see an AI assist button. Clicking it generates:
- A summary of the notice with key parameters
- Requirement ideas — what may be needed to participate
- Risks to verify — what to watch out for
- Sample questions to address to the buyer
Paid document pack for a specific notice
From the application workspace for a saved TED notice you can purchase a document pack with Word drafts: participation checklist, questions for the buyer, bid plan, technical proposal outline, and cover letter — prefilled from the notice and your notes. This is preparation for your own edits; it is not legal advice and does not include submitting a bid on CAIS EOP / another portal on your behalf. Payments are handled by Stripe.
In the app: saved notice → “I want to apply” → “Document pack” section.
Dig deeper: read the full workflow guide and the document pack deep dive.
The AI draft and the paid document pack are optional additions. Read the AI boundaries in the guide on AI assistance for TED notices.

Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) is the EU portal for publishing procurement notices. Firmify reads this data for your radar.
You should add at least one relevant CPV code for your sector — it makes matches more accurate. You can combine several codes.
No. The product only triages and ranks notices by your profile — it does not replace bid strategy or legal review.
