Application A4 — Amendments to EOOD/OOD
Amending Registered Circumstances in the Trade Register (Application A4)
Any change to the registered circumstances of an EOOD or OOD is filed with the Commercial Register using application A4 — the form for entering circumstances regarding a limited liability company.
What Is Application A4?
A4 is the specimen form used by EOOD and OOD companies to request entry or change of circumstances in the Commercial Register.
Important: Do not use application A15. A15 is for associations (non-profit legal entities). For an EOOD/OOD the portal returns “Mismatch between legal form and application”.
The manager must request registration within 7 days of the resolution (Commercial Act, Art. 140(3)).
Which Changes Require A4?
File A4 when changing:
| Change | Description |
|---|---|
| Seat and address | Change of registered office and/or management address |
| Manager | Replacement, addition, or removal of a manager |
| Capital | Increase or decrease of registered capital |
| Company name | Change of the firm name |
| Scope of activity | Change or addition to the registered activity |
| Partners | Changes in the partners (where applicable) |
Euro conversion: registered capital has already been converted ex officio. Separately, you must announce an updated founding act / articles — usually with form G1 or A4. See the euro conversion guide.

Step-by-Step Procedure
- Adopt a resolution — sole owner (EOOD) or General Meeting (OOD).
- Prepare the documents — Firmify generates the application and attachments for the selected change.
- Sign — with a QES; for a new manager — notarial certification of the specimen.
- Pay the state fee — for a standard amendment, electronic filing is usually EUR 7.67 / BGN 15 (A4 tariff); for a stand-alone ZVERB euro conversion the fee is not due by law, but the portal often still shows the standard amount (informative, per Registry Agency).
- File with the Register — portal.registryagency.bg, form A4 (for EOOD/OOD).
- Track the entry — typically 3–5 business days if the pack is correct.
Euro Conversion
From 1 January 2026 the Registry Agency converted registered capital ex officio. By 31 December 2026 EOOD and OOD companies must update the founding act / articles and announce them. Details: Euro capital conversion.
